Karen Vega, DO provides individualized osteopathic medical evaluation and Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT) when clinically appropriate. Vega Hands On Osteopathic Care LLC offers longer appointments for patients with pain, restricted motion, or functional concerns who may benefit from a physician-led, hands-on approach.
When to Consider a Referral
Patients may benefit from an osteopathic evaluation when they have:
Persistent or recurrent musculoskeletal pain
Restricted motion or functional limitations
Symptoms that have continued despite other conservative care
A need for an individualized, hands-on evaluation alongside their existing care
Clinical suitability and whether OMT is appropriate are determined during the medical visit.
What the Visit Includes
The initial visit allows up to 120 minutes for review of the patient’s concerns, medical evaluation, hands-on assessment, and OMT when appropriate. Care is provided by Karen Vega, DO, a physician board-certified in Osteopathic Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine.
The practice serves as an additional resource for osteopathic evaluation and treatment. Patients should continue ongoing medical management with their existing clinicians.

Information to Share With Your Patient
The initial visit is $350 and may last up to 120 minutes. Vega Hands On Osteopathic Care LLC is a self-pay practice and does not bill insurance directly. Patients with commercial insurance may ask about a superbill for possible out-of-network reimbursement; reimbursement is not guaranteed.
Patients enrolled in Medicare or Medicare Advantage should contact the office before scheduling to discuss eligibility and payment requirements.
