What is Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment?

Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT) is a hands-on approach used by osteopathic physicians to evaluate and treat restrictions in the body’s structure and function.

Care focuses on identifying areas of limited motion or imbalance involving muscles, joints, connective tissue, and related systems. Treatment is performed using precise, manually guided techniques tailored to the individual patient.

OMT may be used to support improved mobility, reduce discomfort, and promote overall physiologic function.

A Different Approach to Care

This practice is centered on physician-delivered, hands-on care that integrates evaluation and treatment, as appropriate, within the same visit.

Appointments are structured to allow time for:

• Comprehensive osteopathic evaluation

Care is not rushed and is designed to provide a focused, one-on-one experience.
